Highmark Companies is looking for a highly motivated Carpenter that can work independently as well as on a team. Highmark Companies Carpenters play a crucial role in the construction of custom-designed homes, within restorations, home services and exterior projects. Their responsibilities include various tasks related to construction, ensuring that the finished product meets the specifications and expectations of Highmark and the client. Highmark Companies provides high-quality, custom new home construction and remodeling. We are proud to be a locally owned business, building trust in our clients and community. This position will assist on projects with Highmark Builders, Restorations by Highmark, Exteriors by Highmark and Highmark Home Services.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00

Responsibilities:

• Perform tasks relating to carpentry which include but aren’t limited to:
• Demolition
• Framing
• Interior trim
• Power tool usage
• Layout
• Construction assemblies
• Drywall Hanging and Finishing
• Tile
• Interior trim
• Cabinetry
• Siding repairs
• Window and door installation
• Demolition
• Insulation
• Install, repair, and maintain exterior structures such as:
• roofing, siding, windows, doors, decks, and facades.
• Follow directions from site supervisor.
• Measure accurately using a standard tape measure and speed square.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and finishing.
• Completes various tasks as requested by management.

Job Specifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Carpentry experience or formal training preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship, with the ability to produce high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively under pressure.
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
• Provide your own tool belt with hand tools.
• Knowledge of both hand and power tools preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
