Job Summary: The Mechanic is primarily responsible for performing daily inspections of trucks, forklifts, rental equipment, and Stihl products to ensure the safety of our employees and customers.
Pay for this Role: Negotiable, D epending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Forklift and vehicle inspections.
Perform rental equipment inspections both after and after use.
Complete truck DOT inspections as instructed by law.
Complete oil changes on equipment and vehicles as needed.
Repair equipment and vehicles as needed.
Activate Stihl products as they are purchased and needed.
Complete preventative maintenance on all products and equipment.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to recommend changes to drive business objectives.
Ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, making clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
Have a basic knowledge of computers, hardware and software, and have a proficiency in design software.
