About the Role

The Company is seeking three exceptional Non-Executive Directors to join its passionate and outstanding Board. The successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring good governance and supporting the next phase of the organization's growth and development. The role of a Non-Executive Director includes setting strategy, ensuring a culture that embraces and delivers the charitable purpose, and complying with good governance principles and relevant laws. This involves actively contributing to the Board's strategic direction, defining goals, and evaluating performance, as well as safeguarding the organization's values, financial stability, and proper investment of its funds. The ideal candidates will have experience in strategic and operational estates management, a healthcare or clinical background, or strategic people/HR expertise. They should have a proven track record of advising or operating at a senior level in medium or large organizations and be able to bring a strategic mindset to the Board. Personal qualities such as collaboration, commitment to diversity and inclusion, and alignment with the mission of the organization are also essential. The role is unremunerated, and the Board meets six times a year, with additional committee meetings and service visits. The appointment is for a three-year term, subject to renewal, and successful applicants will be required to undergo Disclosure and Barring Service checks as well as the Fit and Proper Persons Requirement.
