Overview

We are looking for a Quick Turn Program Manager (QTPM) to join the QTPM Execution team. Our work has a major impact across all functional areas. We need passionate, hard-working, and creative people to help us reach our Speed of Light (SOL) goals.

What you will be doing:
  • Drive Speed of Light (SOL) execution at Contract Manufacturers (CM) to deliver zero manufacturing defects for New Product Introduction (NPI) boards and systems assemblies. Work with cross-functional teams to support local Quick Turn (QT) and Mass Production (MP) products and handle all aspects of board and system assemblies.
  • Champion continuous improvement at the CM to reduce waste.
  • Be the primary Operations subject matter expert to drive CM readiness and prepare for production ramp or new product launch. Drive execution to higher operational efficiency and improve daily going rate (DGR), to achieve quality standard and reliable delivery for boards & system assemblies.
  • Coordinate resources, prioritize activities, and establish schedules to complete assignments. Responsible for clear to build and build schedule. Manage multiple QT/MP/Rework/RMA Builds locally and overseas (CM).
  • Attend daily WIP calls with the factory. Provide daily communication and status to the Board Program Manager (BPM) or Requestors.
  • Initiate Special Build Instructions, coordinate ECOs and confirm updates after BOM comparisons are complete. Provide shipment ETA, tracking information to BPM/requestors, and closely monitor Critical Shipments.
  • Conduct Control Run Readiness Reviews and Manage Control Run Builds. Coordinate board testing for CM. Follow up with BPM/LDE for test diagnostics & Vbios; work with SQE/CM for test results. Provide feedback on failures to LDE/BPM.
  • Lead regular reviews and ensure all risks associated with the product are identified and closed or mitigated to enable the quality ramp of a product. Manage operational issues; advance key issues and present options for resolution to cross-functional teams.
  • Create & issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) & drive closure as needed. Review all open 8D during weekly Quality & On Time Deliver (OTD) metric meetings. Maintain asset & equipment lists, and Bi-weekly asset cycle verification.
What we need to see:
  • 7+ years of working experience in the Contract Manufacturing or Production planning field.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Operations, Manufacturing Management, Logistics or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Must function independently in a multifaceted and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and resolve time-sensitive issues in a dynamic production environment.
  • Very strong leadership, facilitation, problem solving, and project management skills are required. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Be solution driven. Apply problem solving skills to resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP, MRP; strong analytical skills; ability to analyze data with Excel (formulas, pivot tables). Excel macros are a plus.
  • Language: Excellent English reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
  • Personality: highly organized, detail-oriented, a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
  • APICS, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing certification is helpful.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000. Final compensation will depend on location, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipros standard benefits including medical and dental, disability insurance, paid time off, and other leave options.
