Excellent communication skills and a warm, courteous manner are needed for speaking with guests, answering phone inquiries, and making accurate reservations. One of your key duties will be to meet and greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant and walk them to their seats. Responsibilities: • Guide diners to their seats and make sure everyone has the correct number of menus, utensils, napkins, and filled water glasses • Greet guests warmly as they enter to create a positive first impression of the restaurant • Assist with clearing plates off tables and getting tables ready for the next guests • Respond to phone inquiries professionally and secure reservations while ensuring all seating issues are quickly and efficiently handled • Respond to questions about the menu and memorize the daily specials whenever needed Qualifications: • Thrive in a fast-moving environment while working in a team situation with extended hours of standing to be expected • Prior food services, or hospitality service industry experience is preferred but not required • This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED and a good command of the English language • Responsible for communicating politely with customers, skilled at organizing, and have the ability to troubleshoot customer requests or issues quickly, and efficiently Compensation: $17 - $18 hourly
