As a Security Officer - Armed Front Desk Driver in Lexington Park, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a financial institution location, you will serve as the first point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Your primary focus will be on monitoring entry points and helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to be prepared to respond promptly as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required, to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all visitors and incidents occurring at the front desk area.
• Communicate professionally with clients, employees, and visitors, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Support emergency response activities and/or evacuations by following site-specific instructions and Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter potential security-related issues within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required as mandated by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
