As a Security Professional Armed Patrol Driver - Aero/Defense in Culpeper, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer in the aerospace and defense sector, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas while carrying out security-related duties with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities, with particular attention to sensitive areas related to defense and aerospace operations.
• Monitor for any suspicious behavior or activities, reporting findings to the appropriate personnel in accordance with site protocols.
• Maintain a high visibility presence while patrolling to help to deter potential disruptions or unauthorized access within the location.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas, ensuring that only authorized personnel are permitted entry.
• Complete detailed and timely reports on all security-related incidents, patrols, and interactions as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support continuous improvement of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or armed guard license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
