Job Title: Travel RN – Acute Rehab (Weekend Days) Facility: U of L Frazier Rehabilitation Institute Location: Louisville, KY Shift: Weekend Days (12‑hour shifts) Contract Length: 13 weeks

Overview: U of L Frazier Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse to join the Acute Rehab team. The RN will provide patient‑centered care to individuals recovering from complex medical conditions, surgeries, and injuries. This role requires strong clinical skills, adaptability, and a commitment to supporting patients in regaining independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to patients in the Acute Rehab unit.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals, therapies, and discharge planning.
• Document patient progress accurately in the EMR system.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license (Kentucky or compact state).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Acute Rehab or Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Required certifications: BLS (ACLS preferred).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a rehabilitation environment.

Assignment Details:

• Travel contract position
